Homes moved for new Lambeau Field media parking lot
GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers have begun clearing the way for the new additions to Lambeau Field.
Two houses near the stadium were moved, rather than demolished, to make way for a new parking lot for the media.
The Packers sold the rental properties to Devooght House Movers for a total of $6,000. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
Packers officials say the move is good for the environment and gives back to the community.
The new parking lot should be up and running before the Packers season begins.
