Lambeau Field's "frozen tundra" isn't so frozen anymore
GREEN BAY -- An NFL playoff game at Lambeau Field in the month of January conjures up images of the 1967 "Ice Bowl" between the Packers and Dallas Cowboys. The temperatures were bitter cold, there was a stiff winter wind, and the turf of Lambeau was rock hard.
When the Packers and Vikings take the field on Saturday, January 5th, the players won't be dealing with the same type of turf. For the last 15 years or so, Lambeau's field has been transformed. FOX6's Tim Van Vooren shows you how.
