Lohse, Gomez lead Brewers over Padres 3-1
MILWAUKEE -- Kyle Lohse pitched 7 innings of 1-run baseball to win his 4th game of the month, and All-Star Carlos Gomez went 4 for 4 with 2 rbi to lead the Brewers to a 3-1 victory over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday night at Miller Park.
With the victory, the Brewers snapped a 2 game slide; Game 4 of the series is Thursday afternoon.
Brewers owner Mark Attanasio spoke to the media about Ryan Braun; in his first public comments since Braun's 65 game suspension, Attanasio said he was sad about the situation; but he has no plans to try and trade his 5-time All-Star. He added Braun has called him to apologize and he would look to act as an advisor through his franchise player's suspension and beyond.
