March Madness: Governor Walker picks Wisconsin Badgers to win it all

MADISON (AP) — In what could be the safest political move of his career, Governor Scott Walker is picking the Wisconsin Badgers to win it all in the NCAA basketball tournament.

Walker posted his completed bracket Wednesday, March 18th on Twitter.

Walker has Wisconsin beating fellow Big Ten rival Michigan State in the final game. His other Final Four teams are No. 1 overall seed Kentucky and Iowa State.

Walker had only one Wisconsin team to choose from in this year's tournament. Marquette University, where Walker attended, didn't make the cut.

Walker is traveling the country to early presidential nomination states in advance of a likely 2016 run. He just returned from a weekend in New Hampshire and on Thursday he began a two-day trip to South Carolina.
