Marquette tops DePaul, 89-76
ROSEMONT, IL -- Marquette's late run in the first half of Monay night's game at DePaul turned the game around, and set the stage for an 89-76 victory in Rosemont, Illinois.
After getting blown out at Notre Dame on Saturday (which stopped a seven game winning streak), Buzz Williams Golden Eagles had a tough time getting off the ground.
They trailed by twelve points before closing the first twenty minutes on an 11-2 run to trail by three at the break.
Darius Johnson-Odom scored 9 of the 11 points. DJO and his teammates coasted from there. Johnson-Odom led five MU players in double figures with 23 points.
Marquette, now 20-5, 9-3 in the Big East, has registered seven straight twenty win seasons.
