Milwaukee Bucks fall 90-83 to Toronto Raptors
TORONTO — DeMar DeRozan had 27 points and the Toronto Raptors held off the late-charging Milwaukee Bucks 90-83 Friday night for their third straight win.
The Raptors led by as many as 19 points in the latter stages of the third quarter only to have the Bucks cut it to four when Giannis Antetokounmpo hit a jumper with 5:11 to go.
The Raptors scored the next five points, including a 3 from Cory Joseph, to stretch the lead back up to nine.
The Bucks trimmed it back to five with 1:24 left, but Toronto guard Kyle Lowry punctuated the victory with a driving layup in traffic with 24 seconds to go.
Khris Middleton had 26 points for the Bucks, who lost their second straight. Antetokounmpo added 15 points and seven rebounds.
