Milwaukee Bucks to host open practice on the Marquette campus

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are returning from the All-Star break this week after getting off to one of their best starts in recent years. To tip off the second half of the season, the Bucks will set the tone by focusing on their play and their fans with an open practice on the Marquette campus this Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Al McGuire Center from noon to 1:45 p.m.

Doors to “The Al” are set to open at 11:30 a.m., with festivities beginning with a team warmup at noon. Bucks TV Play-by-Play Announcer Jim Paschke will introduce the action at approximately 12:15 p.m., and then fans will get an insider’s look at what goes on at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin Training Center on a daily basis. The session will feature players going through different plays, shooting drills and scrimmages – with Head Coach Jason Kidd, along with other members of his staff, mic’d up periodically for further access and insight into the practice.

At each of three scheduled timeouts during the practice, fans will be treated to routines by the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Rim Rockers, as well as opportunities for giveaways and prizes including signed mini balls and tickets to future games. Concession stands will also be open throughout the event.
