Milwaukee Business Journal: Green Bay Packers net profit jumps to nearly $49M

GREEN BAY -- The Milwaukee Business Journal reports new cash generators at Lambeau Field helped the Green Bay Packers record the team’s 13th consecutive year of revenue increases — up 31.5 percent to $408.7 million — in the team’s latest fiscal year as well as record net income of $48.9 million.

The net income figure represented a $19.8 million increase over fiscal 2015. The Packers posted operating profits of $75 million in the latest fiscal year compared with $39.4 million in fiscal 2015.

Local revenue generated at Lambeau Field increased $18.1 million to $186.2 million for the fiscal year ending March 31.
