Milwaukee Panthers tip Green Bay, 64-63
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Kaylon Williams' 3-pointer with a second remaining gave Milwaukee a 64-63 victory over Green Bay Saturday night.
The winning basket capped a seven-point Panthers rally in the final 1:45 after Terry Johnson's three-point play gave Green Bay a 63-57 lead. Ryan Allen's layup and Paris Gulley's two free throws got Milwaukee within two points and set up Williams' winning 3.
Gulley, who had an assist on the winning shot, led the Panthers (11-6, 4-1 Horizon) with 18 points. James Haarsma scored 14, Williams finished with 13, and Allen 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Keifer Sykes had 20 points for Green Bay (6-9, 2-3) on 10 of 18 shooting. Brennan Cougill had 12 points, Alec Brown 12 rebounds and five blocks for the Phoenix, which led until Allen's basket gave the Panthers a 43-42 lead with 15:11 to play.
