Nathan Washburn uses math and science to excel on the soccer field

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Brookfield Academy Blue Knights believe this is the year they can not only make it to the state tournament, but win it as well.  And with Nathan Washburn on the field, why not?  He leads his team in goals scored and even set a new school record for scoring seven goals in one game.  Nathan isn't just a talented soccer player, he's also a gifted student.  He plans to become an engineer in the future, loves math a science and even applies some of those principles to the soccer field.  Nathan Washburn is a FOX6 High School Hot Shot
