CHICAGO (WITI) -- Trae Waynes, who played football at Bradford High School in Kenosha was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2015 NFL Draft. Waynes, a cornerback, was the #11 pick.

Waynes impressed everyone with a 4.31-second time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
According to NFL.com, Waynes played in 36 games over three seasons with the Michigan State Spartans -- starting in 27 games.
He was selected as a first-team All-Big Ten player in 2014, and he was a semi-finalist for the Thorpe Award for top defensive back.
As a junior in 2014, Waynes had three interceptions and eight pass breakups and finished sixth on the team with 46 tackles.
In 2013, he started in all 13 games at cornerback and earned MSU's Tommy Love Award for most improved player on defense.
He played nine games as a redshirt freshman in 2012.
Waynes was named first-tem all-state as a senior at Kenosha's Bradford High School. He also starred in baseball and track in high school.
The Packers play the Vikings twice during the upcoming regular season -- on Sunday, November 22nd in Minnesota, and on Sunday, January 3rd at Lambeau Field.
