Day 1 draft picks
Round 1, No. 22 overall: Quay Walker, LB, Georgia
Walker played four seasons at Georgia and was a key piece of the team's national championship-winning defense; he led the team with eight tackles in that game. In his college career, Walker had 137 tackles and five sacks.
The 21-year-old was a second-team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press. According to NFL.com, Walker is an "instinctive linebacker ready for the NFL game."
Round 1, No. 28 overall: Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia
Wyatt also played four seasons at Georgia and was a fixture of the championship defense. With the Bulldogs, he had 113 tackles and five sacks. According to NFL.com, Walker is a "highly-active defensive tackle" who is "made for movement and disruptions."
Wyatt was arrested in 2020 on a misdemeanor charge of family violence criminal trespass, though the case was later dismissed.
Day 2 draft picks
Round 2, No. 34 overall: Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State
Originally slated with two picks later in the round, the Packers traded up 19 spots to snag Watson – sending those two picks to the Minnesota Vikings via trade.
The 6-foot-4 receiver was "one of the most explosive receivers at the FCS level," according to NFL.com. North Dakota State won Football Championship Subdivision titles in four of his five seasons at the school, including one redshirt year.
His kick return ability also could shore up Green Bay's special teams, the Packers' biggest weakness last season.
Watson has family ties to the Packers organization. The Packers drafted his father, former Howard defensive back Tim Watson, in the sixth round in 1993.
Round 3, No. 92 overall: Sean Rhyan, OL, UCLA
The Packers added depth to the offensive line with the selection of Rhyan, listed at 6 foot-5 and 321 pounds. According to Packers.com, he started 31 games over the past three seasons for the Bruins. He became a starter as a freshman.

"We’re certainly very much of the belief that competition’s going to bring out the best and the cream’s going to rise," Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Saturday on the selection of three wide outs. "That’s something that we needed to do, and I think we accomplished that."
Gutekunst didn’t rule out the possibility of adding another veteran receiver to go along with free-agent acquisition Sammy Watkins, who signed with the Packers last month.

"We’ll see what’s out there and if we can help our team," Gutekunst said. "What we did in the draft wouldn’t prevent us from trying to help our team at wide receiver or anywhere else."
