MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- While most of Packers nation prepares for their game parties here in Wisconsin, there is a contingent of fans who are doing their best to represent the green and gold in San Francisco.
Port Washington's Jared Lanser was one of those lucky fans at Mitchell International Airport on Friday, January 11th ready to board a plane for California.
"We booked our flights, back when they were still cheap," said Lanser.
Lanser says he booked immediately following the Packers regular season loss to Minnesota.
"After they lost, I was back and forth with a buddy who's a Vikings fan. And I just said, 'You know what? I'm so confident that we're gonna beat you,' next week, I just booked my flight to San Francisco," said Lanser.
Katy Bonkoski, a Packers fan, is originally from Brookfield. But now, she lives with Josh Dandridge in San Francisco, a 49ers fan. They have tickets to the big game -- and don't expect any conflict between the two of them.
"I have no issues, with that, at all. We kinda play around, play fight, over it. But, you know, other than that, it's fine," said Bonkoski.
