Packers grounded by Seahawks at Lambeau Field, 17-10
GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Aaron Rodgers played just one series, and the Seattle Seahawks were able to overcome 14 penalties for a loss of 182 yards in their ugly, 17-10 win over the Packers (1-2) Friday night at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers went 4 of 7 for 41 yards, leading the team to a 38-yard field goal by Mason Crosby.
The first team offense has yet to score a touchdown in the preseason, but coach Mike McCarthy was determined to look at as many players as possible in the 3rd of 4 preseason games.
The Packers first team defense was solid, intercepting Russell Wilson twice.
Vince Young, making a bid for the backup quarterback spot, was 6-of-7 passing for 41 yards and Green Bay's lone touchdown, a 1-yard pass to fullback Jonathan Amosa.
Eddie Lacy and DuJuan Harris combined for 11 carries and a minus 3 yards rushing against the stout Seahawks defense.
Harris suffered a knee injury, which was not believed to be serious. He will undergo test on Saturday.
Safety Morgan Burnett had to leave early with a hamstring injury.
1st round pick Datone Jones played a handful of plays at defensive end, despite re-inuring his ankle in practice on Wednesday.
