GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay Packers announced on Monday afternoon, Jan. 2 that a limited number of tickets are now available from the team for the home game against the Detroit Lions. The extra tickets are available because the Lions returned a portion of the team's allotment.
But there are other ways to get your hands on those coveted tickets.
"There’s no way I would have thought this would have happened you know one two weeks ago," said Jim Bryce with Ticket King. "Literally, if you would have bought something mid-last week for this game, you could have gotten in for $75, $80."

But that is definitely not the case anymore. Bryce told FOX6 News the starting price for tickets to Sunday's game is now around $175.

"The fact that things changed so quickly from this game -- meaning nothing to it meaning everything – to get in," Bryce said.
Bryce said 95% of Ticket King's tickets come from season ticket holders. Looking at Ticket King's website, there are tickets available from $156 to more than $3,000.
"It’s gonna be about, what are season ticket holders gonna do? How are they gonna use them?" Bryce said.
Bryce said the next 24 hours will be telling if season ticket holders will sell or keep those tickets.

"I don’t think there’s going to be a mad rush to sell because now the game means something," Bryce said.
FOX6 News compared prices on other sites. For two tickets, Ticketmaster's lowest price was $141 each, StubHub's lowest price was $158, VividSeats had standing room only tickets available for $116, and SeatGeek had tickets for as little as $135.
"But as far as comparatively speaking, how we were selling things 3 days ago, 4 days ago to a month ago, we were just sputtering seats very sporadically," Bryce said.

After several outcomes around the league went their way over the past few weeks, the Packers just have to beat the Lions (8-8) to get in.

"I know not many people in that locker room and definitely not many of you people believed we’d be sitting here at 8-8 with control of our own destiny going into Week 18," Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on Sunday. "That’s pretty special."
