GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay Packers soared over the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field Sunday, Dec. 6 -- a game that marked the Eagles' first visit to Lambeau Field in the month of December.
The Eagles (3-7-1) trailed the New York Giants and Washington by half a game in the division as they headed to Green Bay for Sunday's matchup with the NFC North-leading Packers -- now 9-3.
The Packers won the coin toss and opted to defer -- the Eagles starting with the ball as the matchup got underway Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
The Eagles were the first on the board -- adding a field goal to take a 3-0 lead over Green Bay.
Green Bay got on the board in the second quarter, with a touchdown catch by Davante Adams on fourth down -- his seventh straight game finding the endzone. With Mason Crosby's extra point, the Packers took the lead 7-3 with about 8:30 left in the first half.
The Packers scored again just before halftime -- with a 25-yard touchdown pass from QB Aaron Rodgers to Robert Tonyan -- his eighth this season. With the extra point, the Packers extended their lead to 14-3 with under a minute remaining in the first half.
Davante Adams scored his second touchdown of the game with under 8 minutes left in the third half -- Rodgers' 400th career passing touchdown. Mason Crosby's extra point attempt was no good, bringing the score to 20-3.

Mason Crosby kicked a 40-yard field goal with under 12 minutes remaining in the game, extending the Packers' lead to 23-3.
The Eagles scored their first touchdown of the game with a pass from QB Jalen Hurts to WR Greg Ward -- Hurts' first NFL TD pass. It brought the score to 23-10.
Philadelphia WR Jalen Reagor ran the ball 74 yards for a touchdown with about 6:30 remaining in the fourth quarter -- the first punt returned for a TD since 2015 for the Eagles. It cut the Packers' lead to 23-16.
A touchdown run by Aaron Jones for 77 yards put the Packers up 30-16 with Crosby's extra point with under 3 minutes remaining -- and Green Bay won, improving their record to 9-3.
