Panthers hang on, knock off San Jose St. 64-61
DEKALB, ILL. -- Jordan Aaron scored 16 points to lead 4 players in double figures as coach Rob Jeter's Milwaukee Panthers outlasted San Jose St. 64-61 in the first game of the NIU Invitational Friday night in Dekalb, Illinois.
the Panthers (2-1) led by 10 points with 2 minutes to play, but had to weather a pair of three-point attempts by the Spartans to avoid overtime.
Milwaukee continues play in the NIU Invitational Saturday at 5:30 against James Madison.
