Skid continues, Brewers lose 6-4
MILWAUKEE -- On August 20, the Brewers were 71 and 55 and riding high in the National League. On Monday night, they fell to 3 and 15 since then and a game a half out of the final wildcard spot in the league. Miami beat Milwaukee, 6-4 to continue the Crew's recent misery.
Yovani Gallardo became the all-time strikeout leader in Brewers history with 1207 by whiffing Jarrod Saltalamacchia and passing Ben Sheets. However, nothing else went right for the righthander, who allowed 3 home runs in 3 and 2/3 innings pitched.
Scooter Gennett and Jonathan Lucroy had a pair of hits apiece for the Brewers.
