St. Thomas More at St. Francis ends in 56-14 victory for the Mariners

ST. FRANCIS -- St. Thomas More High School took on St. Francis High School on the road on Friday, August 28th.

Trailing 6-0, St. Thomas More's Jacob Morgan found an opening around the end -- scoring a 22-yard touchdown 6-6 midway through the first quarter.

Both teams share the same field for home games.

The St. Francis High School Mariners didn't want to give up the home turf on this night.

It was Jake Wiedower to Brady Wieland, who made an over-the-shoulder grab for a 35-yard touchdown -- making the score 12-6 Mariners.

The final score: A St. Francis victory, 56-14.
