Still dealing with that calf injury, Aaron Rodgers limited in practice Wednesday
GREEN BAY (AP) — Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was limited in practice on Wednesday, January 14th with a left calf injury as the Green Bay Packers prepare for Seattle in the NFC title game.
Rodgers says he was able to do a little more than last week, when he missed the first day of practice preparing for the Dallas Cowboys.
Rodgers has played well despite the injury that has bothered him for the past month.
The Packers are returning to Seattle for the first time since a 36-16 loss in the season opener to the Seahawks. Rodgers didn't throw in All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman's direction.
Coach Mike McCarthy has said that wasn't by design. When asked Wednesday if that would happen again, Rodgers says that he plans to throw to the open teammate as usual.
