Suns block Bucks 126-117, Giannis star shines
MILWAUKEE -- Goran Dragic scored 30 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 126-117 victory over the Bucks Wednesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Down by as many as 23 in the first half, the host fought back to get to within 100-95, but, as has been the case so many times this season, they couldn't get a defensive stop when they needed it the most.
The Bucks fell to a league-worst 8-37 while getting 27 points from Ersan Ilyasova; Brandon Knight added 24 and 8 assists; Larry Sanders chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds.
19 year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo was selected to play in the Rising Stars Challenge during the NBA's all-star weekend, next month in New Orleans.
