Taking a look back, Brett Favre reflects on his football career: "I was pretty good"
CANTON, Ohio -- After a week of celebrations and memorable moments, the ceremony to induct Brett Favre and the rest of the 2016 Class into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is finally here.
Canton, Ohio is now waiting on Favre's speech that is bound to be unique. He adds it could be bad or it could be good, he just wants it to be heartfelt.
Favre's wife, Deanna, will be presenting him during Saturday evening's induction ceremony -- he's set to speak last.
Favre himself has spent some time now looking back at his Hall of Fame Career.
"In spite of what people may think, I don't sit around the house and watch highlight films of myself. No one would watch them with me, by the way. But I was watching them last night, and I was like, I was pretty good (laughter). Hope I didn't give that impression, but I was thinking I was pretty good. I'm also thinking, it wasn't that long ago so imagine 20 years from now how great I'll be. I think the way I played in high school, and the way I played in college, the style that was kind of make something out of nothing, it served me well as I was learning. Making plays out of nothing when other guys were throwing the ball away. Did some get me in trouble? Yeah. But more times than not it was like, don't do it, don't do it, oh glad you did it," said Favre.
