"There is real talent here:" Milwaukee Wave holding open tryouts in September!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The six-time champion Milwaukee Wave, of the 24-team Major Arena Soccer League, will be holding open tryouts Friday, September 12th and Saturday September 13th from 10am-12pm and 2-4pm at Midwest Orthopedic Sports Complex (formerly Brookfield Indoor Soccer Complex) at 19485 W. Lisbon Rd. Brookfield, WI 53045.

"I've been in Milwaukee long enough to know that there is real talent here,” said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “We'd like to tap into that talent pool and bring in local players to complement the core of players already signed.  This will be a great opportunity for up-and-coming Wisconsin soccer players, and others from around the Midwest, to showcase their abilities, and I look forward to seeing these players at the tryout."

Cost of the tryout is $75, is payable via cash or cashiers check and a liability waiver must be signed. Players will be tested on agility, conditioning and overall soccer ability.

Successful participants will be invited to attend MKE Wave training camp in October.

Please bring appropriate workout gear and shoes/cleats. Attendants will be required to wear protective equipment and will not be allowed on the field without.
