UWM watch parties set for Thursday's NCAA game

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has set up a number of watch parties for Thursday's NCAA Tournament game between the Panthers and Villanova.

The Official UWM Alumni Association Viewing Party is set for Friday's Front Row at Miller Park. The party begins at 7 p.m. and the cost is $15. To register, CLICK HERE. Registration includes a long sleeve t-shirt, spirit items, heavy appetizers and a chance to win an iPad mini.

The UWM Union Gasthaus (2200 E. Kenwood Blvd.) will also host a watch party beginning at 7p.m. No RSVP is needed. There will be free parking in the attached parking structure starting at 7 p.m.

Finally, an additional watch party is scheduled for Stubby's (2060 N. Humboldt Ave.). It also starts at 7 p.m. and no RSVP is needed.

Also, for fans heading to Buffalo, UWM will host a pregame social at Pearl Street Grill and Brewery, 76 Pearl Street in downtown Buffalo. The restaurant is within walking distance of the First Niagara Center and the event begins at 5 p.m.

Thursday's game is expected to tipoff at around 8:30 p.m. CDT and is televised live on TBS.
