"We're going all the way baby!" Packers fans hope playoff journey will lead to the Super Bowl
GREEN BAY (WITI) -- In the final game of the regular season, the Green Bay Packers faced the rival Detroit Lions -- playing for the NFC North Championship. We saw a Packers victory, 30-20, but win or lose, Packers fans always make the most of a home game at the storied Lambeau Field!
The Green Bay Packers are all about tradition, and so too are their fans.
Sunday, December 28th marked the final home game of the season, but don't tell Kurt Miller that! Packers games at Lambeau Field are what Miller lives for. For eight or nine years, he's been helping to park cars a few blocks from the stadium.
Miller says he's never actually watched a game from inside Lambeau since he started working to park cars nearly a decade ago, but he doesn't feel like he's missing out.
'You don`t get the interaction with the fans the way you do in the stadium. It's just a mass of people. We`ve got regular parkers that have been parking with us. It`s a tradition. Everything is a Packers tradition. This is what I do on Sundays," Miller said.
But for many, being at Lambeau Field on Packers game day is tradition.
"Good weather, good fans. It's Sunday. I don't have to work (on Monday). It couldn't be better!" one fan said.
The Green Bay Packers are NFC North Champions, and they're in the playoffs. They're No. 2 in the NFC behind the Seattle Seahawks. It's a road fans hope will lead to the Super Bowl -- and hopefully, a Packers Super Bowl victory!
