Bucks bounce Cavs without James
CLEVELAND (AP) — Brandon Knight scored 26 points Wednesday night and the Milwaukee Bucks led most of the way in a 96-80 win over the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers, who played without LeBron James for the second straight game.James was sidelined because of a sore left knee, an injury that also forced him to miss Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Bucks blow 21 point lead, get overtime win in Charlotte 104-94
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Brandon Knight scored 18 points, including a layup to force overtime, and the Milwaukee Bucks pulled away to beat the Charlotte Hornets 104-94 on Monday.Jared Dudley scored 17 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo had 16, Zaza Pachulia had 15, O.J. Mayo had 13 and John Henson added 11 for the Bucks (16-16), who snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Hornets dating back to the 2011-2012 season.Kemba Walker scored 28 points, Gerald Henderson added 19 and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 10 for theHornets (10-22), who fought back from a 21-point deficit in the first half.Walker's layup with 54.5 seconds remaining gave Charlotte an 83-81 lead, but Knight followed up his own blocked shot for a layup with 16 seconds left to tie the score and force overtime.Milwaukee then pulled ahead for good on Henson's three-point play with 3:51 left in overtime.
Dudley perfect in Bucks blow out of the Hawks
ATLANTA (AP) — Jared Dudley's shooting was perfect, even if his coach wouldn't quite say his game was.Dudley made all 10 shots, including four 3-pointers, and scored a season-high 24 points Friday night to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 107-77 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.Dudley matched Brooklyn's Jarrett Jack for the best-shooting night in the NBA this season."I can't say it was a perfect game because as a coach you always want more, but it was as close to a no-hitter as you can come to," Bucks coach Jason Kidd. "I thought he was great tonight on both ends."Brandon Knight added 16 points for Milwaukee, which snapped Atlanta's five-game winning streak.The Hawks had won 14 of 15 but were routed in front of a rare sellout crowd at home, where they entered with a 13-2 record that was the best in the Eastern Conference.After Dudley made back-to-back 3-pointers for a 21-18 Milwaukee lead with 2:51 left in the first quarter, the Bucks led the rest of the way and went ahead by 30 in the final period.Milwaukee (15-15) had lost three of four, seven straight to Atlanta and five straight in Philips Arena, yet dominated most of a night.Perhaps the Bucks' players-only meeting before the game helped."I think, yeah, any time the guys are disappointed in their performance, that shows you a team that cares," said Dudley, who added a season-high four of Milwaukee's 15 steals. Bucks commit 20 turnovers get swarmed by Charlotte Hornets 108-101
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Kemba Walker scored 27 points and Gerald Henderson added 16 as Charlotte held off the Milwaukee Bucks 108-101 on Tuesday night, extending the Hornets winning streak to a season-high four games.Brandon Knight had a season-high 34 points for the Bucks, who were prevented from matching last season's victory total of 15.Charlotte, which has beaten Milwaukee seven consecutive times, led 88-80 entering the final quarter and extended it to 96-84 as the Bucks went 3:39 without scoring.Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored on a put back to put the Hornets up 102-91 with 2:46 left, but the Knight scored Milwaukee's next eight point, pulling the Bucks within 103-99 on a 3-pointer with 25.9 remaining.The Hornets held on with five free throws down the stretch.

(AP) — Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo left the Milwaukee Bucks' game at Portland with a sprained left ankle late in the second quarter of Wednesday night's 104-97 loss in Portland.Antetokounmpo grimaced in pain while his teammates surrounded him, but he eventually walked off the floor and straight to the locker room.
