Milwaukee Bucks sign GM Jon Horst to multi-year contract extension

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks revealed on Friday, June 7 have signed General Manager Jon Horst to a multi-year contract extension.In two seasons under Horst's leadership, a news release says the Bucks have generated a 104-60 (.634) record, hired Mike Budenholzer as head coach, and positioned the team for long-term success.Horst began his NBA front office career with the Detroit Pistons in 2005 and joined the Bucks basketball staff in 2008 as the team’s Director of Basketball Operations.

Bucks' Beer Garden to host live music on Wednesdays this summer

MILWAUKEE -- Get your dancing shoes on because live music is coming to the Deer District this summer.According to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Beer Garden -- located outside Fiserv Forum -- will hold a free summer music series on Wednesdays, beginning May 29 through Aug. 28.

Giannis Antetokounmpo unanimously selected to the All-NBA First Team

MILWAUKEE -- Giannis Antetokounmpo was unanimously selected to the All-NBA First Team, the league announced Thursday, May 23, marking the first Bucks player to earn First Team honors since Sidney Moncrief following the 1982-83 season.According to a news release from Bucks officials, the forward is just the fourth player in franchise history to garner All-NBA First Team honors, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Marques Johnson and Moncrief.In his sixth NBA season, Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the best record (60-22) in the NBA and the team’s most wins since the 1980-81 season, while setting new career highs in points (27.7, ranked 3rd in the NBA), rebounds (12.5, ranked 6th in the NBA) and assists (5.9) per game.
