Admirals' point streak snapped with 3-1 loss to Wolves

MILWAUKEE -- The Admirals saw their five-game point streak ended in a 3-1 loss to the Chicago Wolves on Saturday afternoon at Panther Arena in Milwaukee’s final game before the Christmas break.The Ads, who lost in regulation for just the fourth time at home this season, outshot the Wolves 38-18 but couldn’t solve Chicago goalie Oscar Dansk until Nick Baptiste’s goal with an extra attacker with 1:51 to play.T.J.Tynan got the scoring started for the Wolves on his sixth goal of the season with just under six minutes to play in the first period.The Wolves picked up goals from Reid Duke and Marco Roy in the second period to push their lead to 3-0 and that would prove to be enough for the Wolves.Baptiste got the Admirals on the board with his sixth goal of the season via a one-timer from the left face-off circle.

Milwaukee Admirals fall to Rockford IceHogs 4-3 in OT

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Jan Rutta scored an overtime goal to lift the Rockford IceHogs to a 4-3 win over the Admirals Wednesday at BMO Harris Bank Center.Rutta finished off a 3-on-1 passing play in overtime to seal the win for the IceHogs.The loss was Milwaukee’s first at Rockford since Feb. 12, 2017.

Anthony Richard scored 2 as Milwaukee Admirals beat Texas Stars 3-2 in OT

MILWAUKEE -- Anthony Richard scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Admirals took a 3-2 win over the Texas Stars in front of a season high 9,307 fans on Friday night, Dec. 14 at Panther Arena.The win snapped a three-game losing streak against the Stars and, coupled with an Iowa shoot-out loss to San Antonio, moved the Admirals back into sole possession of first place in the Central Division.Troy Grosenick stopped 22 of 24 shots to earn the victory, his ninth of the season.Richard staked the Admirals to a 1-0 lead just 2:09 into the game on his ninth tally of the season.

Admirals earn point in OT loss to Rampage; 2-1

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Defenseman Joey LaLeggia scored a penalty shot goal at 4:23 of overtime to lift the San Antonio Rampage to a 2-1 win over the Milwaukee Admirals at the AT&T Center.LaLeggia had a breakaway from the Admirals blue line when he was hooked from behind by Admirals defenseman Fred Allard.

Grosenick nearly paw-fect in Admirals win against Ontario

MILWAUKEE -- Admirals goalie Troy Grosenick was nearly paw-fect as he stopped 22 of 23 shots to send Ontario home with their tails between their legs in a 2-1 Ads victory on Saturday night at Panther Arena in the team’s annual Dog Day contest.Eeli Tolvanen and Connor Brickely were very good boys for the Admirals as they both put the biscuit in the basket to make life ruff on the Reign.The Admirals scored their first goal in over 120 minutes on Tolvanen’s fourth goal of the season at the 9:01 mark of the opening frame.

Admirals fall 5-3 to Wolves in entertaining game

MILWAUKEE -- Over 7,000 school kids and teachers saw an entertaining, offensive affair as the Admirals and Chicago Wolves combined for eight goals, but unfortunately for Milwaukee they came out on the short end of the stick in a 5-3 loss Wednesday morning at Panther Arena.The game, which began at 10:30 am, was the first of two Baird School Games that the Admirals will play this season and dropped their all-time record in school games to 4-2 at home and 7-6-1 overall.The Wolves Daniel Carr finished the game with four goals, while linemate Brooks Macek tallied five assists to lead the Chicago offense, which jumped out to a two-goal lead after the first period.Milwaukee responded in the second, getting goals from Jarred Tinordi and Colin Blackwell to level the score at two within the first 6:16 of the frame.

Admirals earn point in OT loss to IceHogs, 3-2

MILWAUKEE -- Zach Magwood scored his first two professional goals for the Admirals, including the Jockey Being Family Teddy Bear Toss Goal, as the team earned a point in an 3-2 OT loss to the Rockford IceHogs on Friday night.Despite the loss the Admirals extended their point-streak to six games (4-0-2).The game-winner came from Rockford’s Dylan Sikura at 3:33 of OT after a delayed penalty was whistled on the Admirals and IceHogs goalie Anton Forsberg out of the net.
