DES MOINES, Ia. -- Goalie Kappo Kahkonen stopped 20 shots to lead the Iowa Wild to a 3-0 win over the Milwaukee Admirals Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Wells Fargo Arena.Despite the loss, Milwaukee (21 points) retained a two-point lead in the standings on Rockford (19) and Iowa (19).

Admirals Get Penned In By Hogs; 2-1

MILWAUKEE --Colin Blackwell scored the Admirals lone goal as they dropped a 2-1 decision to the Rockford IceHogs on Friday night at Panther Arena.Tom McCollum allowed just two goals on the night, but suffered the hard-luck loss in goal for Milwaukee.

Admirals fall 5-3 to Wolves in entertaining game

MILWAUKEE -- Over 7,000 school kids and teachers saw an entertaining, offensive affair as the Admirals and Chicago Wolves combined for eight goals, but unfortunately for Milwaukee they came out on the short end of the stick in a 5-3 loss Wednesday morning at Panther Arena.The game, which began at 10:30 am, was the first of two Baird School Games that the Admirals will play this season and dropped their all-time record in school games to 4-2 at home and 7-6-1 overall.The Wolves Daniel Carr finished the game with four goals, while linemate Brooks Macek tallied five assists to lead the Chicago offense, which jumped out to a two-goal lead after the first period.Milwaukee responded in the second, getting goals from Jarred Tinordi and Colin Blackwell to level the score at two within the first 6:16 of the frame.

Admirals earn point in OT loss to IceHogs, 3-2

MILWAUKEE -- Zach Magwood scored his first two professional goals for the Admirals, including the Jockey Being Family Teddy Bear Toss Goal, as the team earned a point in an 3-2 OT loss to the Rockford IceHogs on Friday night.Despite the loss the Admirals extended their point-streak to six games (4-0-2).The game-winner came from Rockford’s Dylan Sikura at 3:33 of OT after a delayed penalty was whistled on the Admirals and IceHogs goalie Anton Forsberg out of the net.

Admirals scare off Monsters with 3-2 win

MILWAUKEE -- Matt Donovan ripped a slapper from the right circle at exactly three minutes into overtime to give the Admirals a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Monsters on Friday night at Panther Arena.Tom McCollum turned aside 30 Cleveland shots to earn his fourth victory of the season, while the win ran the Admirals record to 7-1-1 overall and 3-0 on home ice.For the third time this season Anthony Richard scored the game’s first goal, tonight converting a 3-on-1 with a wrister from the right dot that beat JF Berube five-hole at the 5:53 mark of the first period.

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Defenseman Matt Donovan scored two power play goals and added a goal in the shootout to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to a 5-4 shootout win over the Chicago Wolves Sunday at Allstate Arena.The shootout lasted seven rounds.

MILWAUKEE -- Matt Lane scored the Admirals lone goal as they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Chicago Wolves in the lone pre-season game for both clubs on Saturday night at Panther Arena.The Wolves picked up goals by Tomas Hyka at 11:32 of the first and Gage Quinney at 15:56 of the second to grab a 2-0 lead.Lane struck at the 18:14 mark of the middle frame when he crashed the net and gathered the rebound of an Alex Carrier shot that had gone off the post.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Nashville Predators have named Karl Taylor the head coach of the Milwaukee Admirals, their American Hockey League affiliate.The 47-year-old Taylor spent the last four seasons as an assistant coach with the AHL's Texas Stars.
