ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- The Milwaukee Admirals, who worked so hard to secure a playoff berth on the final day of the regular season, suffered a swift exit from the playoffs, thanks to the Abbotsford Heat's 4-2 win Wednesday night, April 25th in British Columbia.The victory completed a three-game sweep for the Heat, who took the first two games in the Bradley Center, in the best of five first round series.Coach Ian Herber's Ads fought back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game on a Victor Bartley power-play goal, but Dustin Sylvester lit the lamp on still another Abbotsford power-play early in the third period for the hosts.

Heat burn Admirals, sweep 1st 2 playoff games

MILWAUKEE -- The Admirals are on the verge of being eliminated in the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs, following Sunday's 4-2 loss to Abbotsford; the Heat took the first two games of the best of 5 first round series in the Bradley Center; the match-up switches to Canada for game 3 Wednesday night (games 4 and 5 if necessary, would also be played in Abbotsford).Chris Mueller's 2nd period period goal gave Milwaukee a 2-1 advantage; but the Heat scored the last 3 with Krys Kolanos 2nd goal of the game proving to be the game-winner.
