Milwaukee County Jail to stop cooperating with ICE agents

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office will no longer share information about people detained in the jail with federal immigration officials.Sheriff Earnell Lucas recently announced that the office won't offer information about detainees to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents unless there's a valid judicial warrant, Wisconsin Public Radio reported.

Sheriff's Office identifies victim of fatal crash on EB I-94 near 39th Street

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office released on Tuesday, March 5 the identity of the man killed in a crash on eastbound I-94 at 39th Street.The wreck happened around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4.The victim was identified as Douglas Felde, 33, of Milwaukee.The factors leading to the crash remained under investigation, officials said.

Driver suffers minor injuries in rollover crash on I-94 EB at 35th Street

Semi jackknifed on I-41/US45 NB at Mayfair Road; driver suffered minor injuries

Milwaukee County deputies arrest 3 repeat OWI offenses in 5 days

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County deputies arrested three drivers for repeat OWI offenses between Thursday, Feb. 21 and Monday, Feb. 25.The first arrest happened Thursday around 3 a.m., when deputies were dispatched to a disabled vehicle on I-794.

Charged: Jose Marmolejo accused of firing shots from car near 47th and Lloyd

MILWAUKEE -- Jose Marmolejo is now charged with second degree recklessly endangering safety and harboring a felon after a "shots fired" incident that happened near 47th and Lloyd last Sunday, Feb. 3.According to the criminal complaint, deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the area near State Highway 175 and Lisbon Ave.
