RACINE -- One person was taken to the hospital by Flight for Life after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Highway 20 and N.

BURLINGTON -- A Burlington man, 64, was arrested for his fifth OWI offense on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24 after sheriff's officials said his cargo van ended up in a ditch.Deputies responded to the area near Fischer Drive and Pinewood Drive just after 2 p.m. after a concerned citizen reported the van in the ditch, and indicated the driver may have been intoxicated.Sheriff's officials identified the man as Patrick Shroat in a news release Tuesday night, and said he indicated he was trying to move his vehicle from the road into his driveway, and he "missed the driveway." While speaking with him, sheriff's officials said deputies noted "numerous indicators of impairment."Field sobriety tests were administered and Shroat was arrested for OWI, fifth offense.

RACINE -- A Racine man was arrested for felony stalking of a deputy six days after he was released from the Racine County Jail.Officials with the Racine County Sheriff's Office identified the man in a news release as Ameer Johnson, 23.

UNION GROVE -- A Milwaukee man was arrested for drugged driving after Racine County sheriff's officials said he crashed his vehicle into a ditch on Durand Avenue just off of I-41/94 in Union Grove Tuesday morning, Dec. 24.It happened around 6:30 a.m.Sheriff's officials said the man drove off the highway as he traveled east on Durand Avenue, and into the ditch, where the vehicle struck a We Energies utility pole, causing minor damage.

WAUWATOSA -- Law enforcement helped a local boy deliver boxes of toys to kids who could use a little holiday cheer.The Racine County Sheriff's Office helped Cody Struble with a special delivery to Children's Wisconsin on Monday, Dec. 23.With assistance from four deputies, a specialized Racine County Sheriff's Department car was filled with over a dozen moving boxes stuffed with toys.

RACINE — Law enforcement officials in Racine County say they recorded six drunken driving arrests within a five-hour span.The incidents happened between 3:45 and 8:45 p.m. Friday and included suspects between the ages of 23 and 65, the Racine County Sheriff's Office said.One man was arrested for his fifth Operating While Intoxicated offense.

RACINE -- The woman who was known for two decades as Jane Doe finally has a proper headstone identifying her by her given name, Peggy Lynn Johnson-Schroeder.

VILLAGE OF ROCHESTER -- Prosecutors say a Racine County mother found passed out behind the wheel with a 5-year-old girl and 2-year-old girl in her vehicle had fentanyl on her when a deputy found her vehicle stopped less than two miles from her home.Three felonies and two misdemeanors were filed against Jacqueline Robinson, 30, of Rochester on Wednesday, Dec. 18:

TOWN OF RAYMOND -- Wednesday, Nov. 27 marked one year since a hit-and-run crash killed Keith Brown, 61, in the Town of Raymond in Racine County -- and as of Wednesday, no arrests had been made.Brown was found dead on the side of the road on Nov. 27, 2018 after the crash on a dark stretch of County Highway U, north of 7 Mile Road.

ROCHESTER -- Two suspects are in custody in Racine County and expected to be charged in connection with an armed robbery.

RACINE COUNTY -- Three Milwaukee men were taken into custody Sunday night, Nov. 10 after getting into a fight while outside of their vehicle on the Burlington Bypass near Durand Avenue.

RACINE -- Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling on Friday, Nov. 8 revealed the identity of the young woman whose brutally abused body was found in a cornfield in the Town of Raymond in 1999.

RACINE COUNTY -- A 31-year-old Kenosha man was issued citations for failure to maintain control of vehicle, operating while suspended, non-registration of auto, and not having auto insurance following a crash involving two semis Wednesday morning, Nov. 6 in Racine County.The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced all lanes on I-41/94 in the area were clear as of about 2:30 p.m.The crash temporarily shut down all lanes in both directions on I-4194 between WIS 11 and WIS 20.According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, a 31-year-old man from Kenosha was driving his pickup truck northbound on the interstate.
