Power knocked out to at least 5 homes after crash involving dump truck, power poles

MILWAUKEE -- Power was knocked out to at least five homes following a crash involving a dump truck and power poles near 49th and Keefe Tuesday, August 15th.We Energies officials said two poles were taken down, and lines to five homes were damaged.We're told repairs could take awhile, as it'll involve both the pole replacement and repairs to the lines to the homes.

We Energies crews called out to gas leak near 16th and Hadley in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- We Energies crews were called out to the area of 16th and Hadley Thursday morning, August 3rd to deal with a gas leak.Authorities were called out to the area around 8:45 a.m. after a contractor hit a service line.Some residents in the area were temporarily evacuated.

MILWAUKEE -- A crash resulted in a loss of power, impacting more than 1,000 We Energies customers Sunday, May 28th, officials said.It happened near 41st and Mount Vernon around 3:00 p.m.FOX6 News was told a vehicle slammed into a pole at that location, causing significant damage, and knocking out power to more than 1,300 customers.We Energies crews were then working to re-route power while repairs were being made.
