Hunters urged to inspect cabin heating systems prior to gun deer season

MILWAUKEE -- We Energies is urging deer hunters to thoroughly inspect their cabin's heating system before heading out into the woods.A news release issued on Tuesday, Nov. 19 says inspecting a hunting cabin’s heating system can help avoid a dangerous or even fatal buildup of carbon monoxide.

We Energies: Power restored for 4K+ customers in southeast Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE — We Energies officials Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 6 around 1:30 p.m. reported power was restored to more than 4,000 customers in southeast Wisconsin.In particular, the outage impacted businesses and residences in the area near 27th Street and Oklahoma Avenue on Milwaukee's south side.

'Will pay nearly 11% less:' Lower heating bills expected this winter for We Energies customers

MILWAUKEE --  As the temperatures drop and furnaces kick on across Wisconsin this weekend, We Energies customers are hearing some good news: Their heating bills are expected to be lower this winter.According to We Energies, their winter heating forecast shows the average customer will pay nearly 11% less this winter than last year.We Energies indicates their winter heating forecast is based on a 20-year average of winter weather and assumes the price of natural gas remains where it is today on the spot market.
