BROWN DEER -- Two people were evaluated at the scene of a carbon monoxide response in Brown Deer Sunday, May 13.Crews were called out to a home near Green Bay and Cherrywood, and found carbon monoxide levels at 40 parts-per-million in one unit, and as high as 100 parts-per-million in another.We're told firefighters usually have to wear masks when the levels are at 50 parts-per-million or higher.Everyone was able to get out of the building safely.

BROWN DEER -- Firefighters with North Shore Fire and Rescue battled a fire on Silverbrook Lane in Brown Deer on Wednesday evening, December 6th.Crews were called out to the two-story home around 4:00 p.m. Fire was found coming form the home after callers reported fire in an attached garage.Only one family member was home at the time.

GLENDALE -- The North Shore Fire Department was called to help assist a man who was trapped under a tractor/lawn mower on Thursday, July 13th.Officials say it happened on River Woods Parkway off of North Port Washington Road in Glendale.According to officials, the man declined transport after he was evaluated.

Driver severely injured after crash that knocked out power to 500+ in River Hills

RIVER HILLS -- A driver was severely injured in a crash involving a single vehicle that resulted in a power outage in River Hills Saturday, June 17th.The crash happened at Brown Deer and Spruce.We Energies crews restored power to 580 customers after a vehicle crashed into a pole and home on Brown Deer Road, knocking down a power line before settling in a ditch.The call came in around 7:15 a.m., and power was restored by 8:30 a.m.River Hills police said the driver is severely injured, and was taken to the hospital.We're told there were concerns another person may have been ejected from the vehicle, but no one has been located.
