Man accused of killing landlord over $30 rent increase in Cudahy committed for life

CUDAHY -- A Cudahy man accused of killing his landlord after learning his rent would be going up by $30 was committed for life due to mental illness.Jason Tilley, 38, was in court Tuesday, Feb. 12 for a court trial, at which time it was determined Tilley was not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

Firefighters rescue man who fell from bluff along Lake Michigan in Cudahy

CUDAHY -- South Milwaukee and Cudahy firefighters rescued a person from the Lake Michigan shoreline Saturday night, June 30.At around 10 p.m., a call came in regarding someone that had fallen off the lake bluff in the area near Ramsey and Lake Drive.Responding officers found a 30-year-old man in need of medical attention after he fell roughly 100 feet onto the beach below.
