GLENDALE -- Glendale police need your help in their search for a missing 16-year-old girl.Officials say Teenasia Scobey-Polacheck was last seen on Sunday, July 1 when she left her home on a silver and blue bicycle.She's described as a female, black, standing approximately 5’5” tall, weighing 160 pounds, with a dark complexion and short black hair.

18-year-old Milwaukee man faces 'numerous felony charges' after officer struck during pursuit

GLENDALE -- An 18-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in connection with an incident in which a Glendale police officer was struck by a fleeing, stolen vehicle on Saturday, June 23.Glendale police said in an update Monday, June 25 "numerous felony charges" are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in this case.The striking vehicle, stolen during a burglary in Whitefish Bay, was recovered, police said.The officer was struck near Port Washington Avenue and Silver Spring Drive after deploying a tire deflation device.That officer, a two-year veteran of the Glendale Police Department, was treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Group in minivan break into vehicles at Nicolet High School; lead police on pursuit

GLENDALE -- Glendale police are searching for a group of people who broke into several vehicles parked in the Nicolet High School parking lot Friday morning, May 4.Glendale police say shortly after 10:40 a.m., three people climbed out of a 2003 mint green Dodge Caravan in the parking lot of the high school, and broke into five vehicles with the intent to steal items out of them.PHOTO GALLERYA person at the scene called a security officer at the school to alert them of the suspicious activity and police were called.Officials say the group fled the scene.

Glendale PD honors officers who jumped into action to save life of man not breathing, without pulse

GLENDALE -- Glendale police are highlighting the actions of four officers whose quick action saved a life.According to a tweet from Glendale PD, the officers pictured below (Chapman, Galbraith, Myers and Bonville) were flagged down by a motorist, whose father wasn't breathing and had no pulse.The officers jumped into action, performing CPR and reviving the man.North Shore Fire/Rescue officials then arrived and took over.These four officers have received a "lifesaving" award from Glendale PD.
