Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue today with very humid conditions. Still cannot rule out a strong or severe storm later in the day. Drying out Friday with full sunshine on Saturday. Finally cooling down and becoming more comfortable early next week.

A few morning showers are possible today with a strong round of storms possible this afternoon and evening. Severe storms are possible. Storms will persist overnight into early Friday before calming through the noon hour. Sun returns Friday afternoon and we stay sunny and dry for Saturday. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 80s and feel hotter with higher dew points. We'll stay humid overnight into Friday even though temperatures will fall slightly before warming again this weekend. We expect a cooler less humid stretch early next week.

There is a slight risk for thunderstorms today but a better chance overnight into Thursday morning and again Thursday afternoon. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms. We stay hotter than average into the weekend with high dewpoints but should remain dry Saturday with just a slight chance for showers and storms Sunday.
