A strong area of low pressure moves from Kansas to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan over the next 24 hours. That low will bring rain and thunderstorms to our area with Marginal Risk for severe storms. Highs today will vary widely. We'll hit the upper 60s and low 70s for areas inland and south while lakeside and north will stay in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain tapers off Friday morning but there is a chance for rain again on Saturday.

Steady clearing today as we get into a brief lull between rounds of rain. Highs today will reach the low 70s again but cooler air arrives for tomorrow. Rain and a chance for thunderstorms staring overnight and lasting through much of the day on Thursday with up to 1" of accumulation possible. Rain showers taper off Friday but a chance for rain returns Saturday before we dry up on Sunday.

Still a few more showers to get through early today as this low passes off to our east. Ahead of the cold front most of the day, we will warm into the low 70s. Temperatures will stay mild even on the backside of the front with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s Tuesday and warming again to the low to mid 70s midweek. Rain returns to the forecast on Wednesday with periodic chances through Friday and a drying trend for the weekend.

We are tracking an area of low pressure and its warm front as it moves our way from the west and southwest. That low will bring us rain and and thunderstorms today, starting in the afternoon and lasting into the overnight. Another round of rain and thunderstorms is expected Saturday and again on Sunday. Temperatures will be near normal today but cooler near the lake. We warm into the upper 70s tomorrow and stay in the upper 60s and 70s most of next week.

We stay sunny today and will warm from the chilly morning lows to highs in the low to mid 50s this afternoon. A low arrives on Friday with rain likely and a chance for thunderstorms. Around 0.25 to .75" of rain possible. More rain on the way for Saturday and into Sunday. Wind gusts will be strong Friday through Sunday.
