Weather webcast with Lisa Michaels
A cold front moves into the area later today but ahead of that, we remain hot and sticky with highs in the upper 80s and dew points near 70. The passing front could help to trigger some more storms later today. Once it clears, dew points will fall and temperatures will cool but that is only temporary. Temperatures surge back to near 90 by Saturday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Another break from the heat arrives Sunday and Monday but long range models continue to show hot and sticky days ahead.
