Strong storms prompted tornado warning for Fond du Lac, Sheboygan Counties



FOND DU LAC COUNTY -- The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties Wednesday night, Aug. 7. The NWS canceled the warning for Fond du Lac County, but it continued for Sheboygan County until 9 p.m.

A cold front brought strong storms to Wisconsin beginning Wednesday evening. The FOX6 Weather Experts said the storms would move out overnight, and temperatures would fall into the 60s.

We'll see partly sunny skies and cooler temperatures on Thursday, with highs near 80 -- and we stay dry through Saturday.
