Tornado watch until early Thursday for most of SE Wisconsin

A tornado watch remains in effect for Jefferson County, Kenosha County, Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, Racine County, Sheboygan County, Walworth County, Washington County and Waukesha County until 1 a.m. Thursday, June 16.

Severe thunderstorms began moving into southeast Wisconsin Wednesday evening, triggering a few tornado warnings. As of Wednesday night, there were no confirmed tornadoes in southeast Wisconsin.

The FOX6 Weather Experts said Wednesday night the main threat for the remainder of the evening would be flash flooding, with a flash flood warning in effect for a large portion of the FOX6 viewing area until about midnight.
