Tornado watch canceled early for Kenosha, Racine, Walworth counties

The National Weather Service canceled the tornado watch for Kenosha, Racine and Walworth counties early on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

It was canceled at 8:50 p.m. and was originally effective until 10 p.m.

The watch also covered a swath of northern Illinois. During the watch, the NWS said there was an extraordinary threat to life or property.
