Cedarburg bank robbery suspect arrested, police say
CEDARBURG, Wis. - The Cedarburg Police Department said the suspect sought in a Monday afternoon bank robbery is now in custody.
It happened at Port Washington State Bank on Washington Avenue. Police said the suspect jumped the teller's window and took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

Officers were dispatched while the robbery was in progress. They arrived, set a perimeter and searched the area but did not find the suspect.
The Cedarburg Police Department said officers, with help from federal law enforcement, developed a 20-year-old person of interest. That person was taken into custody on Wednesday morning.
Police previously described the suspect as a male, Black and approximately 5-foot-5. He was wearing ripped white pants, a D.A.R.E shirt and a blue bandanna that covered his face.
The suspect did not display a weapon to the bank staff. No physical injuries were reported.
