Zavala was the last of the men charged in the case to be sentenced. Four others were sentenced as follows:

  • Alec Bobinski, 26, was sentenced in April 2024 to 18 months in prison and two years of extended supervision for fleeing police, as well as probation for drug offenses and a $200 fine for driving while revoked. He pleaded no contest in December 2023 to four charges, and 11 other charges were dismissed.
  • Amonte Underwood-Givens, 24, was sentenced to probation in May 2023. He pleaded guilty that March to two drug-related felonies, and six additional charges were dismissed.
  • Trestin Manar, 24, was sentenced to probation in April 2023. He had pleaded no contest earlier that year to three felonies, and 14 other charges were dismissed.
  • Xavian Cruz, 25, pleaded guilty to a drug felony – the only charge he faced – and was sentenced to probation in July 2022.

'Bag Boys' drug bust

During the investigation, agents learned that the Bag Boys would advertise illegal drugs for sale on a Snapchat "drug menu." They also advertised illegal firearms sales, the sheriff's office said.

Agents made multiple purchases from the Bag Boys, including marijuana, marijuana wax, psilocybin, ecstasy and oxycodone. They also recovered an abandoned bag that had marijuana, marijuana cartridges and a loaded gun inside.
