Boy needing heart transplant attends Packers game at Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY -- A Milwaukee boy got to cross one of his dreams off his bucket list Sunday, September 30th. He attended his first ever Packers game!

12-year-old Blake Parker was born with half a heart. He's undergone nine open heart surgeries and has been on the heart transplant list for 19 months.

Blake's father says he will also need a kidney transplant in the future.

Blake made a bucket list on his birthday and going to a Green Bay Packers game was on it. Sunday, that dream became a reality!

Blake mingled with other fans before the game started. His father says the amount of support for the boy has been overwhelming.

"It's been very good. Me and my wife are with a support group through the hospital called Mended Hearts and it's an organization just for children and their families with heart defects and that's just been such incredible support for me and family," Jeff Parker said.

Blake's father says it's been difficult finding a match because Blake has rare antibodies, blood type and tissue.

Blake's family members say even though he seemed tired, he was excited to make the trip to Green Bay.

This summer, Blake threw out the first pitch at a Milwaukee Brewers game, and he got to meet with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
