GREEN BAY (WITI) -- The Packers announced Sunday that approximately 40,000 tickets for the NFC Wild Card Playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers will go on sale Monday, December 30th.The game will be played at Lambeau Field on Sunday, January 5th at 3:40 p.m.Packers Green and Gold package season-ticket holders who had an email address on file with the ticket office as of December 17th will receive the first opportunity to purchase tickets.

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Ticket brokers started slashing prices on Packers tickets on Monday after fans started showing less interest.Factors such as player injuries and freezing cold temperatures are affecting the prices.John Schmidt of Schmitty's Tickets says most of the calls he's gotten this week have been from sellers rather than buyers.Some tickets with a face value of $97 are now selling for as little as $30."This is very rare," said Schmidt. "Only pre-season you see them go this low, but I think it's going to be kind of the norm with the 7,500 extra seats up there."A Packers spokesman says the Atlanta Falcons also returned several hundred of their allotted tickets for the game.
