Green Bay Packers Training Camp offers plenty for fans, especially the kids

GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers announced on Monday, July 25th the activities available for fans to enjoy next to Ray Nitschke Field and in the Tundra Tailgate Zone during 2016 Packers Training Camp, presented by Bellin Health.Everything kicks off on Tuesday, July 26th and include a host activities for fans to participate in while they watch practice.The American Family Insurance DreamZone, an interactive area in the Tundra Tailgate Zone, will feature activities during the first week of training camp (July 26-Aug. 1), including skills challenges for kids and adults, face painting, photo card booth, a Lambeau Leap area, and a toddler station.

Packers shareholders set to hold annual meeting at Lambeau Field Thursday

GREEN BAY -- The Packers are preparing for several thousand Green Bay Packers Shareholders and guests who have requested tickets for the organization’s Annual Meeting, set for Thursday, July 21st, at 11:00 a.m. at Lambeau Field.The event will be held rain or shine, but with Thursday’s forecast calling for heat and potential thunderstorms, attendees should prepare accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.Shareholders are reminded that the parking lots and ticket windows open at 8 a.m. and gates to the stadium open at 9 a.m. The Atrium is open only to shareholders and ticketed guests until 2 p.m., when the facility opens to the general public.

Public input session set to discuss development for Titletown District near Lambeau

GREEN BAY -- Now that construction work has begun on the Titletown District just west of Lambeau Field, public discussion is beginning about what to do with the land east of the stadium.Green Bay city officials will hold a session later in July to figure out what types of development should be promoted -- and how to brand what is known right now as the "Stadium Entertainment District."The district is vast plain of former industrial sites that's now home to a variety of restaurants, sports bars and hotels, including an indoor water park resort, the Tundra Lodge.The public input session is scheduled for July 27th.CLICK HERE for more on this story via the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Milwaukee Business Journal: Green Bay Packers net profit jumps to nearly $49M

GREEN BAY -- The Milwaukee Business Journal reports new cash generators at Lambeau Field helped the Green Bay Packers record the team’s 13th consecutive year of revenue increases — up 31.5 percent to $408.7 million — in the team’s latest fiscal year as well as record net income of $48.9 million.The net income figure represented a $19.8 million increase over fiscal 2015.

GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers announced Thursday, May 26th that ‘Packers Family Night, presented by Bellin Health,’ will take place Sunday evening, July 31st -- and you'll be able to see it only on FOX6.Now in its 16th year, ‘Family Night’ will serve as the introduction of the 2016 Green Bay Packers, in-person to a capacity crowd in Lambeau Field and on television to a state-wide audience.The event, which begins with in-stadium activities at 5:30 p.m., will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.The format of this year’s Family Night will once again be a full practice, in order for the team to accomplish its preparation goals for the regular season.

Construction could start soon on Titletown District next to Lambeau Field

ASHWAUBENON — Construction could soon begin on the Titletown District next to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.The Ashwaubenon Village Board considers giving final approval Tuesday, March 8th for the phase one of the development project, which includes 21 of the project's 34 acres.Anchors for the project include a four-star hotel and spa called Lodge Kohler, Hinterland Brewing and Bellin Health sports medicine clinic.

GREEN BAY -- Delaware North Sportservice, the exclusive food and beverage service provider for the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, is set to hold a job fair this week to recruit for positions at 1919 Kitchen & Tap, as well as catering positions throughout the stadium.The job fair will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.Delaware North Sportservice is seeking employees to fill a variety of part-time positions at 1919 Kitchen & Tap, as well as in the catering department of Lambeau Field.

Economic impact of Badgers football game against LSU at Lambeau expected to exceed $14M

GREEN BAY -- The Wisconsin Badgers football game against LSU at Lambeau Field is expected to have an economic impact that exceeds $14 million.Team officials say that's more than the impact of an individual Green Bay Packers game, because it should attract more out-of-town fans.The Packers have allotted 40,000 tickets for Badgers fans and 20,000 for LSU fans.Another 20,000 club and suite tickets are being reserved for Packers season ticket holders.CLICK HERE for more on this story via the Milwaukee Business Journal.
