Admirals fall to Lake Erie Monsters in OT

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Admirals battled back from a two-goal, third period deficit to force overtime, but eventually fell to the Lake Erie Monsters 3-2 in when former Admiral Hugh Jessiman scored the game-winner with 50 seconds remaining in the extra session.Jessiman’s tally came while Taylor Beck was in the penalty box for tripping, putting the Monsters on a four-on-three power-play.

Admirals drop third straight

CHICAGO -- Milwaukee goalie Jeremy Smith stopped 32 shots but his teammates were unable to get much going offensively as the Chicago Wolves defeated the Admirals 2-1 Friday night at Allstate Arena.Milwaukee has dropped five of its last six games.Chicago got on the board first when defenseman Nolan Baumgartner passed from his blue line to the Admirals line where Michael Davies was positioned behind Milwaukee’s defense.

Jon Blum reassigned to Milwaukee Admirals

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Monday that the club has assigned defenseman Jonathon Blum to Milwaukee (AHL).Blum has five points (2g-3a) in 27 games for the Predators in 2011-12, after posting three goals and five assists in 23 games for Nashville at the end of last season.
