MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Menomonee Falls police have released the 911 call made moments after an attempted carjacking in the North Pointe Shopping Center that happened on Monday, April 13th.Officials say just before 11:00 a.m., two suspects were in a car in the parking lot of the shopping center — near the Jo Ann Fabric and Craft store.

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Menomonee Falls police say two people are in custody following an armed bank robbery and subsequent pursuit.Police were made aware of an armed robbery that occurred at the Associated Bank on Main Street in Menomonee Falls shortly after 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 14th.Police say the suspects fled in a vehicle and headed eastbound on Main Street.

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Menomonee Falls Police say three people are in custody in connection with a residential burglary, and two-vehicle crash.Police were called out to a residential burglary in progress on Saturday, July 26th -- just before 4:30 p.m. It happened in the 16200 block of Lone Oak Lane.As police were responding, they learned the fleeing suspects were involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lisbon Road and Graysland Drive.Police say the suspects then fled on foot into the city of Brookfield.Several agencies, including a K9 unit assisted in locating and apprehending three male suspects.The investigation is ongoing.

Man accidentally shoots self, dies outside Meno. Falls business

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- A 61-year-old man is dead after officials say he accidentally shot himself in the chest in the parking lot of Bob Lanier Enterprises in Menomonee Falls on Thursday morning, April 3rd.Officers were dispatched to the scene just before 9 a.m. As a precautionary measure, officials advised businesses in the area to lock down and shelter in place.

19-year-old man facing seven charges in kidnapping incident

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Waukesha County officials Tuesday, October 2nd charged 19-year-old Tou Thao of Fond du Lac with seven charges related to the alleged kidnapping of three young children, following a domestic incident.
